The shop forgot my name, so I went without a lug wrench. Christian from customer service was very helpful. Not sure if I'll go back to that particular shop.

Not using them anymore do to my final service never being corrected properly (Thousand Oaks on my Lincoln MKZ). This was after I suspended going to Simi Valley Brake Masters as the service writer didn't understand lowering overhead by accepting my willingness to pay for the service of changing out my electric vacuum pump for my A/C.
BTW, this was the fix for my A/C and not the mixer as he wanted me to do to my 2002 Excursion. Sad. I really liked dealing with Juan, but Josh was a whole other story.
I really liked dealing with Donald in Thousand Oaks, but the new crew is really lousy. Maybe Israel from Brake Master will call me if he has any questions.
User's recommendation: use the more expensive option - firestone

Verified Reviewer | Apache Junction, ArizonaThey had my car for a whole month and left me scrounging for rides and then $800 for a car rental all because of an alternator. A mini Cooper does not take reman alternators.Replaced 2 batteries
Replacing alternator for the 4th time. Now by the dealership.
BM USED REMAN ALTERNATORS . I also have had three batteries in about 2 months. BM had my car for a month. Basically left me stranded until I had to rent a car that cost me $800.
The manager went on vacation and front desk said she knew nothing. They used my warranty, now I have to pay out of my pocket over $2100 to get a new alternator, by the dealership the correct way. Im not allowed to use my warranty( I paid over $1500 for) for it since brake masters used it and the job was not done. I would think by the 3rd week, you would know and if you dont have the tools to fix a mini Cooper!
Then dont touch the car. I was given excuses. I was also told that they had a problem calculating the alternator. From my understanding, you do not calculate an alternator.
Its just an alternator- you do, however have to calculate the battery in a mini. I took it to auto House as I was requested to do by the dealership and they gave me a print out which John, the manager of B. Masters didnt bother to call him. He said he was waiting for Auto House to call them Its not Auto Houses problem, Its Brake Masters problem since theyre the ones getting paid.
I have lost a lot of time at work and its put my job in Jeopardy since I work with special needs.
Its very important for me to be there. I need to know what can be done about this.
- Work on cars
- Cannot do specialty cars
- But they try anyway
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Your car needs special tools or parts, do not take it anywhere other than the dealership or a specialty shop. It will save you time, money, and a headache.
They are reaping off customers
Not accountable and they are charging 200 usd labor per hour with no guaranteed on the job, this company has no departments where to access management.

I use the brakemasters in downtown santa fe, nm. This visit I find that the manager Marshall no longer works there, there are 2 people sitting behind the counter not really motivated to wait on me.
I brought my 2002 econoline conversion van in to have the passenger power window fixed. First, they want to charge me $140.00 diagnostic fee which I have never had to do before with other power windows being inoperable. Now I get a call that they want to charge me extra to clean the adhesive residue off of the window that was left behind from the duct tape that had to be used to keep the window up during our trip back from colorado!
I have a long history with this shop, I owned the truck that slid off of the lift and was totalled by your insurance company. If this is the way you conducting business now, I will be taking my 5 vehicles somewhere else for all of the service needs.

Preferred solution: Price reduction
User's recommendation: don't visit this location as the young employees do not know customer service!
Speak to corporate office on Henderson nv
They did not fix the problem they diagnosed the problem and it was all wrong and then the manager tried to tell me about something else after charging me $260.00 for a small line I could have gotten for way less than they paid . They just took my money ,very bad business
User's recommendation: Do no go thee they are full of it
Great Service second time around from Corey and Sal at BrakeMasters #115 Albuquerque
Our Audi started making a noise while braking after having brakes repaired previously.
We had it checked at the closest garage and they said we needed ball joints. They were replaced.
When we left the car was banging and pulling.
Immediately took it to Corey and Sal. They determined there were loose bolts and a motor mount leak.
They got our Audi in right away!
The Audi is now perfect and I once again cant thank Corey and Sal for outstanding professionalism and as efficient service as you would ever expect!
Simply outstanding guys and can do attitudes! Than you!

Verified Reviewer | Denver, ColoradoService related issues
I haven't had any resolution from the company, no one has contacted me back about this, they won't return my phone calls, and I've not yet found any business local to me in Colorado who can check on the work Brake Masters did on my truck in Arizona.
I've not received any response from this company whatsoever - no return phone call, no email response, no response at all to my concerns.
User's recommendation: If you're not going to be in their local area, don't get work done here as they will not lend you any support for the work they have completed if you are not in their local area. If you can go to a location, you might be okay. Just know that you will most likely end up going back after they have completed your repairs/maintenance.

Verified Reviewer | El Paso, TexasCustomer complaint
I visited your store in El Paso Texas this morning ( may 20, 2023 @ 7:30am) the address of the store is 12204 Eastlake El Paso Texas 79928.
I went in for a simple oil change and was greeted by an extremely rude employee by the name of Robert Cantù, whom is an assistant manager. I was about to explain to him about a past oil change that I did, at another Brake Masters, and was abruptly interrupted by Mr Cantu by stating, ok so whats your question then?
I felt as though I was being rushed and that my service there was not appreciated. I was then able to continue on with my question, but I knew that I had made a mistake for going to that location. My first instinct was to leave. But I decided to stay, due to the fact that I had just gotten out of work and I was to exhausted to drive around finding another place.
All in all, my oil change was done.
Not once did I feel welcomed. Yet other customers were being treated fairly compared to the way I was treated. This coming from an assistant manager is uncalled for. I will certainly not ever go back to that shop plus I will not ever recommend anyone to go there.
Horrible, horrible customer service.
I always thought that the customer came first. I surely wasnt.
Thank you for your time

My engine light came on, so I took the car into my local Brake Masters
located at 851 E Thousand Oaks Blvd., California. The technician told me I needed
a new mass air flow sensor.
The charge would be almost $400. I agreed and paid to have the car fixed. Just 2 days later, the same light came back on. I called, and the technician told me it was a quick calibration.
I returned the car only to be told by the manager that they could not calibrate my sensor and I needed to take it to the Nissan dealership.
I then had to pay the dealership $300 a new sensor since the one sold by Brake Masters was an after-market part and it wasn't working properly. Brake Masters was $100 more than the dealership.
User's recommendation: go someplace else and compare prices
